Ready for the Test?

How do you feel about taking tests? Are you one who adequately prepares for the test? Are you one who stays up all night for a last minute attempt to cram all of the information into your brain in hopes that it will stay in nice neat compartments until you are ready to retrieve it? Even still, are you one who thinks that you already know all the answers?

Many of us go about our days oblivious to the fact that the world in which we live is our testing center. Since we are not adequately prepared, the tests that we face each day leave us dazed, confused and uncertain of how we ever got to this point. Many times we even go as far as blaming God for allowing things to happen to us…we question His whereabouts as we undergo the tests.

Nevertheless, many times God is wondering why we did not help ourselves during the test. The bible is our textbook that is chalked full of answers to every test that comes our way. One thing that is certain is that the adversary knows scripture. In Luke 4 he even tried to trip up Jesus as he quoted Psalm 91:11-12. Now if he will attempt to deceive Jesus, WHO IS THE WORD, what do you think that says about what he will try to do to you and me?

Prayer

Lord, I thank You for leaving me an instruction manual that fully equips me to pass every test that comes my way in life. Place within me such a strong desire to saturate myself with the Truth so that I will be set free and live a victorious life regardless of what comes my way.
